Skipjacks
SKIPJACK 29'

Sister Skipjacks "Natty Lou" and "Emmy Lou" (engine hatch off on "Emmy"). The 19th Century Chesapeake Bay Skipjack or Bateau design is wide, beamy and shallow drafted. Easy to handle and fast - a beautiful sailor. Accommodates four with V-berth and double-berth, head, galley, and ice box. 12' self-bailing cockpit houses engine, fuel tank, battery, and storage items.
TRAWLER 36'

The "Justin T", named after a Down East fisherman's son, was needed for shrimping, oyster dredging, clamming, and sink netting. The fuel-efficient hull form is easily shoved. It draws less than 3 feet, built with 4 water-tight bulkheads for added safety and structural stiffness. The "Justin T" is powered by a 471 GM diesel, and is skegged for a 24 inch wheel.

Outboard Well Skiff
OUTBOARD WELL SKIFF

This skiff is a shallow-draft design indigenous to North Carolina. Our 16' was developed for sport fishermen and the 19' for heavier commercial use. The position of the well places the motor forward of the transom to prevent net entanglement. The rounded stern makes for easy net maneuvering. Designed for 25 - 35 hp motor.
COLONIAL GAFF RIG SLOOP 22'

This cruising sloop features an unstayed gaff rig for simplicity. It has a v-berth/sette arrangement and two quarter berths. This moderately drafted sloop is ideal for day sailing, weekend cruises, and extended trips.

Flattie Sail Skiff
FLATTIE SAIL SKIFF 16'

Blake designed and built this model for his own use. It features an unstayed sprit rig with jib and topsail. The Flattie is both useful for oystering and clamming, and for simply puttering around. With the centerboard raised, it only draws six inches, ideal for shallow creeks and shoals. Fun to sail!
